Donor Engagement and Data Management Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Donor Engagement and Data Management Specialist serves as the primary contact for inquiries from supporters, emphasizing customer service to foster loyalty and connection. This role involves managing the recording, processing, and acknowledgment of donations, alongside the accurate input of data and financial information into the database (currently Salesforce, transitioning to Raiser's Edge). Timely updates and maintenance of the database are crucial to support fundraising initiatives from both individual and institutional contributors. This position requires a physical presence in the office to effectively carry out daily responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and update the database consistently. Address all supporter inquiries, including expressions of gratitude, complaints, and information requests. Manage all donation-related processes within the database. Conduct income reporting and analysis. Coordinate data segmentation and execute mass communications to donors. Ensure high-quality standards and compliance with GDPR regulations in data entry; collaborate with the ICT team. Assist the Philanthropic Partnerships Officer in enhancing database practices to deepen understanding of the supporter base and facilitate prospect research. Provide support for donor relationship management. Contribute to the annual objectives and strategies of the Individual Donor Relations team.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Strong commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization, including principles of intersectional feminism, social and environmental justice, and advocacy for marginalized groups. Educational background at the vocational level or equivalent experience in managing financial, supporter, and customer data. Personal experience in combating various forms of systemic oppression, including but not limited to sexism, racism, and classism. Familiarity with human rights, social justice, environmental advocacy, international development, and feminist movements. Proficiency in data entry on CRM systems, preferably Raiser's Edge. Competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Understanding of GDPR and the management of supporter communication preferences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Dutch, capable of engaging with diverse backgrounds. Ability to provide excellent customer service with a supporter-centric approach. Capacity to work collaboratively across different departments. Skills in relationship building and representing the organization effectively. Attention to detail and organizational skills, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Strong time management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and flexibility in handling varied tasks.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
We offer a full-time position (36 hours) within a dynamic and professional environment at an international foundation dedicated to diversity, solidarity, peace, and justice. The monthly salary for this role is based on experience and follows the CAO Welzijn scale 8, with a minimum of € 2.836 and a maximum of € 4.040, plus 8% vacation pay, a 13th-month salary, and a pension plan.
