Role Summary


As the Head Chef at Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen brigade and acting as a coach and motivator for a team of 10 staff members.


About the Role


The ideal candidate will have same level experience as a Head Chef, with a proven track record of success in managing high-pressure kitchen environments.


Responsibilities


Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:



  • Leading, coaching, and inspiring your kitchen team


  • Maintaining order and calm across different hospitality concepts through thorough preparation and task allocation


  • Working with our Inntel Hotels menu: Inntel Classics, with the freedom to create your own dishes and set prices


  • Collaborating with clients on event planning, offering surprising recommendations that exceed expectations and are feasible to execute


  • Actively contributing to the growth and development of our hotels through your role in the Management Team



Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to have:



  • Same level experience as a Head Chef


  • Experience working in restaurants, as well as with banqueting and events, so you know what is required of a kitchen in various hospitality settings


  • Proven leadership experience


  • Thorough knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety, and safety regulations


  • The ability to keep an overview across multiple outlets, multitask, and set the right priorities to meet deadlines


  • Strong listening skills and the ability to respond effectively to complaints and challenges from the team or guests



What We Offer


As a Head Chef at Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark, you will be offered a competitive salary starting from €3500 gross per month based on 38 hours per week, no regular overtime, and any overtime you do will always be compensated.


Additionally, you will be offered 25 vacation days based on full-time employment, a prime location in the city center, freedom and responsibility to shape the role according to your insight, attractive staff discounts on hotel stays at our Inntel Hotels and a 20% discount in our restaurants, pension contributions and the option to join a collective health insurance plan.
