Avantor Sciences is seeking a seasoned Industrial Sales Manager to join our team in Amsterdam. As an Account Manager Inside Sales, you will be responsible for driving business growth by managing your customer portfolio in the region South. Your primary focus is on developing and executing sales strategies that meet or exceed targets.
About the Position:- Develop sales plans to expand our business and assess existing customer relationships.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities within existing contacts and fresh leads, and engage with customers via various channels.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and the Sales Team to set goals and ensure they are met.
- Promote digital solutions to customers.
Key Tasks:
- Prepare and present quotations to customers and manage contract implementations.
- Support Product Specialists and Key Account Managers in sales execution.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and report sales metrics.
Requirements:
- Completed University Degree in Science or relevant work experience in life sciences and a good understanding of laboratory products & processes.
- Experience with Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, or similar in a B2B setting is preferred.
- Commercial flair and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, and experience working with a CRM would be an asset.
