About the Role

This is a key position within the Indirects Procurement Leadership team, providing leadership to the Global Functional/Corporate Services Purchasing Team. The team consists of 8 to 10 sourcing professionals, located in various regions, including the US, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and India. The areas of support include, but are not limited to:

  • Information Technology
  • Human Resources
  • Insurance
  • Legal
  • Marketing and Communications
  • Travel and Expense

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of efficient sourcing and category management strategies. This includes:

  • Leading the implementation and improvement of standard sourcing processes
  • Developing and maintaining in-depth market knowledge within areas of responsibility
  • Identifying best practices and industry benchmarks
  • Developing the organization to identify improvement areas, explore cost reduction opportunities, and establish a total cost of ownership approach internally and with external suppliers
  • Actively working to improve commercial terms with suppliers, identifying ways to minimize spending and reduce cost to support the company's financial objectives
  • Actively working with key stakeholders in the businesses, functions, and ISC to build alignment around targets and establish common execution plans to support business growth and profitability improvement

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in procurement and/or functional (corporate service) roles
  • Change management experience, managing improvement programs with diverse teams, as well as the cultural aspects of the change to be delivered
  • Experience in sourcing, including strategic sourcing methodology and contract management
  • University bachelor's or master's degree level, preferably in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar applicable to the categories of management

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience (direct/indirect) dealing with sales and customer service organizations
  • Strong project management experience with lean management methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
