About the Role

We are seeking a Business Controller to drive financial performance and business growth in the Benelux region. As part of our local management team, you will provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and controlling financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Additionally, you will support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate projections and informed decision-making.
  • Financial Performance Management: Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience (2-5 years) as a Business Controller or similar role.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Proficient in financial planning and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience in the construction or chemical industry is a plus.
