Head of E-Commerce Strategy

About the Role

The Head of E-Commerce Accounts will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strategy for the EMEA region. This involves ensuring winning plans are in place daily, close collaboration with supply chain, finance, marketing, merchandising, and leading a team of 4 FTE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing e-commerce retailers and pure players, with a strong analytical ability and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

- Full P&L ownership for centrally managed Ecom Accounts
- Develop and deliver strategies to hit commercial targets through EMEA marketplaces
- Work closely with local heads of sales on strategy development and trade plans
- Oversee the development and implementation of plans to win with key regional E-Comm account partners
- Annual negotiations: Lead the negotiation cycle with key partners, seeking value-adding opportunities
- Business planning and forecasting: Oversee high-quality forecasts to maximize availability on marketplaces
- External networking and partnerships: Build collaborative, value-adding partnerships with external accounts and partners
- Owner Experience: Ensure owners receive a fantastic experience every day
- Budget: Ensure budgets are invested optimally, focusing on incrementality and ROAS

Requirements

- Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in managing e-commerce retailers and pure players
- Experience leading regional negotiations across multiple markets and stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with core account management and planning competencies, including forecasting, promo planning, budget management, and merchandising
- Experience managing and leading teams in a matrixed structure
- High level of commercial acumen and analytical ability
- Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate technical issues in simple terms
- Keen eye for detail, particularly in a digital setting
- Low ego, happy to flow to work in times of need, seamlessly moving from strategic concepts to operational projects
- Fluent in English, with an additional EMEA language beneficial
