Job Title: Global Technology Owner Active Isolation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Technology Owner to lead our Active Isolation and Purification technology platform. As a key member of our Global Technology group, you will be responsible for driving technology development, scale-up, and large-scale implementation of our biotechnology applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technology development and scale-up of Active Isolation and Purification technologies, with a focus on cleaning effectiveness, hygienic design, quality, and stability.
  • Responsible for technology scouting, including pilot assessments, to ensure DSM is leveraging the latest developments in the industry.
  • Ensure end-to-end leadership across Operations to evaluate business attractiveness and rally stakeholders to obtain approval.
  • Own and drive global technology standardization of unit operations and best practices, working closely with R&D, Engineering, and Capital Procurement.
  • Provide URS for new line installations and participate in Capex projects.
  • Fuel continuous improvement of processes and technologies in the plants, focusing on efficiency, yield, quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Lead technology know-how management across the organization and maintain relevant communities of practice.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or Food Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including technology scale-up.
  • Proven experience in technology development, scale-up, and large-scale implementation.
  • Experience in quality-by-design, R&D processes, shopfloor practices, process safety, and business finance.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with leadership abilities and the capacity to build relationships in a cross-functional and remote setup.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
