We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team at Carrier. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and managing client accounts within the Netherlands and Scandinavia region.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth: Achieve assigned annual revenue growth and territory quota by identifying new sales opportunities and developing strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
- Account Management: Oversee and grow existing small and medium accounts within the assigned territory, building strong relationships with clients and understanding their needs and requirements.
- Sales Development: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails, leveraging market research and industry knowledge to identify key players and generate interest.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Sales Targets: Close sales and achieve quarterly and annual quotas, working closely with regionally-focused territory managers to maximize account potential.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product marketing and sales teams, to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Customer Insight: Understand customer needs and requirements, sharing insights with Product Marketing Management to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Market Knowledge: Research past accounts that have not re-ordered to regain business, and develop strategies to win back lost customers.
- Account Planning: Perform regional account planning, analyzing historical growth and projecting future growth to inform sales strategies.
- Travel: Travel up to 10% for client visits and trade shows, representing Carrier and networking with potential clients.
Requirements
- Education: University degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales or account management.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of sales strategies and practices, with practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems.
