Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in The Netherlands. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end logistical coordination of complex, urgent, and potentially life-saving shipments every day.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate and contact with customers and prospects to develop customer relationships and plan and execute shipment orders.
- Prepare and submit written quotes to customers and provide customer-specific reporting.
- Be a key player in booking and cutting waybills, receiving and replying to enquiries via email, phones, and our internal IT system.
- Monitor and track ongoing shipments, react to any deviations, and communicate temperature results as soon as possible after delivery.
- Work with regulations (ADR/DGR/IATA) as well as with local laws and guidelines, and build and maintain relationships with other World Courier offices, clients, agents, airlines, handling agents, and suppliers.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and self-motivation.
- Good decision-making skills, good analytical skills, and the ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively to improve customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with World Courier services and operations, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management systems.
- Strong typing/data entry skills and the ability to work independently and self-organized.
