I am hiring for a Distribution/Wholesale Marketing Manager to work on a globally renowned fashion brand.

The role:

  • 3 month contract (potential to extend to 6 months max)
  • Hybrid - 3 days a week in Hoofddorp office - non negotiable
  • €70K - €75K pro rata

As the Distribution/Wholesale Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the brand's growth across direct and distributor markets. Reporting to the Director of Channel Activation, you will act as the primary connection between key distributors, retail, and wholesale partners, as well as the internal marketing and commercial teams. Your responsibilities will include co-developing impactful local marketing plans that align with the global strategy while catering to local market needs. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure efficient operations, seasonal planning, tool adoption, budget management, and stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual with a strong passion for the fashion industry. They should have a "can-do" attitude, be willing to get involved in the day-to-day tasks, and thrive in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

What will you do?

Support the Growth of Distributor Markets with Effective Local Marketing Plans:

  • Assist in creating and executing marketing strategies across EMEA markets, ensuring they are delivered on time, with high quality, and aligned with business goals.
  • Take responsibility for seasonal marketing plans, overseeing their execution and optimizing them to drive both sales and brand growth.
  • Work with distributor teams to create and implement localized marketing plans that follow the global strategy, fostering strong collaboration.
  • Ensure local marketing campaigns are in line with brand standards and seasonal plans, covering digital, social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new distributors, guiding them through an in-depth onboarding process.
  • Manage budgets and resources for marketing initiatives while tracking campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide monthly reports to management, including campaign results, marketing expenditures, PR updates, and insights on best practices.

Wholesale Marketing Activation Planning and Execution:

  • Build strong relationships with key wholesale accounts, their commercial managers, and merchandising teams.
  • Oversee budgets and investments for key account marketing to increase sales both to and through these partners.
  • Plan and execute activations with key account partners, including digital, retail, influencer, PR, and social media integration.
  • Represent wholesale marketing and assist the sales team during market launches and sell-in periods.
  • Ensure that regional marketing strategies align with global brand objectives.
  • Measure, optimize, and communicate results of activations with stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams and key stakeholders, ensuring distributor marketing initiatives are seamlessly integrated.
  • Inform the EMEA Integrated Marketing team of relevant local marketing events.
  • Facilitate communication between distributor markets and internal teams, gathering insights and briefing marketing material development for high-quality local execution.
  • Drive synergies and process improvements by effectively working with the commercial team and other key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with wholesale commercial account managers.

Who are you?

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing (Master's preferred).
  • Experience in wholesale or distributor marketing
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing with an international brand that operates across multiple channels.
  • Experience in the fashion or footwear industry is a strong advantage, as is international experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and work independently.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for developing engaging and memorable brand activations.
  • Proven project management experience, including handling multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management related to marketing activities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to stay current with evolving trends and industry shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
  • Knowledge of international fashion trends and the ability to translate them into commercial concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
