Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

As Manager Digital Wholesale Analytics (Digital Partner Commerce/DPC) for adidas in Europe, your role is to drive sell-out and digital KPI reporting across defined digital accounts. You will identify opportunities & commercialise data to unlock actionable insights; with the objective of driving digital KPIs to ultimately grow sales and accelerate the brand’s market share.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with the various DPC teams to enable data driven insights and identify key trends and business drivers through leveraging internal and external tools.
  • Share overviews with key stakeholders on the performance of our brands, focussing on digital sell-out alongside other key digital KPIs that are available.
  • Implement and develop further the analytics tool suite and drive adaptation of these tools across the different clusters.
  • Continuously evaluate the digital marketplace within the defined digital accounts & through data led insights, input into optimum assortment propositions.
  • Provide visibility on market share developments, identify the key factors behind this evolution and provide recommendations for driving this.
  • Continually evolve your understanding of the consumer journey on the defined digital accounts, evaluating how consumers navigate the website and ultimately land on the PDP, leading to conversion.
  • Track and measure the impact of different digital initiatives driven by the account DPC lead, including planning in advance the expected results, measurement methods, appropriate benchmarks and post event analysis.
  • Take ownership for content integrity reporting and following up on the respective actions, ensuring all key digital accounts within the defined cluster are meeting the minimum digital brand standards we set across Europe.
  • Leverage best practise approaches and applying these within your scope of responsibility, but also sharing with the team any recommendations for enhancements and improvements that are relevant.
  • Drive maintenance, improvements, and the automation of reporting processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Proficiency in turning data into commercially driven actionable insights
  • Solution orientated with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Full understanding of key digital KPIs (e.g. Impressions, Clicks, PDP views, ATC, CVR, ROAS), their inter-connected nature and what levers to drive to improve sales performance.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Project Management; organizational & prioritization capabilities.
  • Advanced experience with analytics tools and disciplines (web analytics, eCom, social, mobile, paid media, SEO, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheet analyses.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI and Alteryx (preferred)
  • Fluent English is necessary; another European language would be beneficial.

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • 4+ of professional experience in Digital Analytics, Business Analytics, eCommerce or equivalent.
  • BA / BS in Business, Finance, Economics or related field (Masters in Analytics is a plus).
  • Experience in analysing, commercializing and actioning data to enhance business KPIs.
  • Strong experience in Digital Analytics, Web Analytics or working with big data.
  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving processes, and solving problems. 
  • Ability to confidently present quantitative and qualitative insights; for example globally, across functions and/or to senior leadership.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work in deadline driven environment.
