Working hours
Thisfull-time position typically follows standard office hours, with apreference for a 40-hour workweek, though a 36-hour schedule isalso possible. Working fewer than 36 hours is not an option. Whileremote work is available most of the time, attendance at certainin-person meetings is required.

Employment agency Manpower is looking for aPayroll Administrator Germany for Dow inTerneuzen.

As a PayrollAdministrator, your core mission is to ensure accurate, timelypayroll for employees in accordance with local tax regulations,labor agreements, and internal policies. In this role, you willcoordinate and carry out essential administrative and control tasksfor the Payroll team. With a strong process-driven approach andattention to detail, you manage your responsibilities flexibly andefficiently. Your interactions with both local and internationalpartners position you as a trusted advisor, guiding on payrollmatters with clarity and expertise.

By nature, this job requires a substantial amount ofcoordination with a variety of internal- and external stakeholderswhere accountability and ownership of data and processes are key.Some of your duties are:
  • Delivering Payroll,Time & Absence, and Data Management in a productive andefficient manner
  • Processing information withconfidentiality and with a high level of accuracy
  • Interchange salary input and output data withthe payroll provider and perform calculations and validationactivities to ensure the processing of accurate data.
  • Prepare and execute accurate and timely(manual) payments to employees, to local authorities and to thepayroll provider

The PayrollAdministrator Germany is part of the Payroll/T&A team inthe EMEAI HR Solutions organization, located in Terneuzen, theNetherlands.  
The HR Solutions organization isresponsible for the design and delivery of innovative solutions toall employees and leaders. HR Solutions roles contain deepsubject-matter expertise in order to consult on programs, processesand people. The top priority of HR Solutions is to deliver the bestEmployee Experience. The team will consist out of 5 persons (1manager, 2 specialists and 2 representatives). This is a long termassignment.

Functie-eisen
  • Bacheloror mbo 4 level of thinking and working preferablyin HR, Finance or related area.
  • An excellentcommand of the English and German language (at least level C1/ C2level according to the Common European Framework of Reference forLanguages) 
  • Preferably you also have 2years of payroll experience or an affinity with numbers and anunderstanding of seeing connections 
  • Availability of 40 hours per week
  • A Dutch work permit that is valid for at leastnine months or an EU-nationality
  • A certificateof conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) that shows you havenot committed any criminal offences

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, MS Office &SAP. 
  • Proficiency in any other Europeanlanguage is an asset. 
  • Understandorganizational interdependencies and experience working acrossfunctions and cultures. 
  • Experience inhigh volume operational environments is required. 
  • Experience in internal controls through prioraudit participation is preferred. 
  • Goodproblem solving, critical thinking skills and managing competingpriorities.  
  • By nature, this jobrequires a substantial amount of coordination with a variety ofinternal- and external stakeholders where accountability andownership of data and processes are key
