Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor in Theoretical/Computational Soft Matter Physics to join our research unit at Eindhoven University of Technology. The successful candidate will have a strong research profile in soft matter physics, with a focus on theoretical or computational approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality academic research in soft matter physics, with a focus on theoretical or computational approaches.
- Teach and contribute to the Applied Physics bachelor and master curriculum.
- Lead a research group and supervise students at the bachelor/master/PhD level.
- Collaborate with other researchers within the department and across the university.
Requirements
- PhD in Theoretical/Computational Physics or a related field.
- At least two years of experience as a (postdoctoral) researcher.
- Ability to conduct high-quality academic research and teach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
