As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, Global Tax Determination, you'll play a critical role in supporting our go-to-market organization by engaging with customers to ensure global tax determination compliance across their IT environments. This position combines the expertise of a Sales Engineer with the role of a white-board techno-functional specialist dedicated to guiding customers through their journey to integrate Sovos solutions into their IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide domain expertise relating to the integration of external tax determination solutions into leading ERP's used by Sovos customers, including SAP S/4 HANA and Oracle Cloud.
- Lead the client discovery process to help uncover unforeseen challenges across the indirect tax spectrum as addressed by Sovos solutions and ensure the proper Sovos integration offering is being proposed across disparate enterprise software systems and applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Continuously collaborate with peers and SMEs in Product Management and other teams to ensure knowledge transfer among Indirect Tax product families.
- Work closely with global Strategic and Enterprise sales teams to evangelize and present Sovos solutions as part of customers ERP transformation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and software integration, with a focus on SAP or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture and data modeling.
- Progressive experience in solution or sales engineering of technology platforms or suites.
