Samsung's B2B Mobile sales division is in search of a Strategic Partnerships Manager to spearhead growth by cultivating and enhancing customer and channel relationships within designated market segments. This role is pivotal in identifying and developing new market opportunities specifically for the Benelux region. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will be instrumental in generating new business across various market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Development of Samsung Wallet (60% of time)

  • Organize discussions with financial institutions and payment service providers regarding the implementation of the wallet solution.
  • Assume the role of project leader for the deployment of the wallet solution.
  • Advocate for Samsung Wallet among potential customers.
  • Educate payment providers on the comprehensive wallet offering.
  • Prepare and compile necessary project documentation for pre-qualifications as needed.
  • Build and sustain extensive customer partnerships, focusing on relationships at the executive level.
  • Conduct technical solution workshops with clients.
  • Keep stakeholders informed through regular update meetings.
  • Take ownership of issues and manage escalations effectively.

Drive New Initiatives (30% of time)

  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities by forming alliances with third-party solution providers.
  • Discover and secure new solutions that enhance market coverage across various segments.
  • Collaborate with the broader Samsung B2B team (including PM, channel, biddesk, etc.) to deliver optimal solutions and support strategy execution.
  • Develop innovative propositions.
  • Create value propositions that incorporate Samsung Knox products tailored to different verticals.

Achieve Business Objectives (10% of time)

  • Oversee results, progress, and forecasting for the product category.
  • Formulate strategic and actionable vertical plans that outline a clear growth trajectory.
  • Monitor and report on each solution's performance.
  • Conduct research and share insights on customers and their respective markets with the sales team and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate demand generation efforts and ensure effective allocation of sales-qualified leads.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Strategic Partnerships Manager for Samsung Wallet will possess the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of proven success in the B2B technology sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development.
