Operations Supervisor

About the Role:
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing direction, support, and coaching to employees, while effectively supervising processes and the efficiency of the operational department.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a high-performing team with a winning spirit.
- Develop a customer-centric mindset, prioritize tasks, and take action accordingly.
- Lead the Core Team in setting priorities, making decisions, driving improvements, and achieving cost savings.
- Ensure safety, health, quality, and ergonomics in the department.
- Manage, motivate, and develop employees through coaching and performance management.
- Ensure all employees are trained according to procedures.
- Encourage employee involvement and contribution in CI, PS, and 5S programs.
- Oversee daily operational activities and ensure optimal production capacity.
- Provide accurate measurements, reports, and timely metrics to management.
- Coordinate information on absences, holidays, and communicate with HR.
- Act as a subject matter expert during internal and external audits.
- Execute local strategy in accordance with budget.
- Oversee departmental time registration.
Requirements:
- Education level: HBO or relevant work experience.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Successful track record as a people leader.
- Strong administrative and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Dutch and English).
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
Work will be performed in two shifts.
