Sparque B.V., a pioneering e-commerce technology company, is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive strategic partnerships and accelerate growth.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies with resell partners and e-commerce platform vendors. Your primary focus will be on maximizing customer acquisition through partnerships, as well as directly if needed.

  • We are looking for someone who can develop and execute partnership strategies, including joint marketing initiatives and co-selling opportunities.
  • You will identify, recruit, and manage potential sales partners, such as digital agencies and system integrators, to resell, implement, and support Sparque technology.
  • Your role will also involve collaborating with partners to develop sales strategies and joint business plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and executing partnership strategies to drive increased product visibility.
  2. Identifying and recruiting potential sales partners to resell, implement, and support Sparque technology.
  3. Collaborating with partners to develop sales strategies and joint business plans.
  4. Providing sales tools, training, and resources to enable partners to effectively promote and sell Sparque products and services.
  5. Collaborating closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to align partnership priorities with company goals.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with strong relationship-building skills. Ideally, you should have 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, or Sales & Marketing, preferably in e-commerce business.

  • A strong ability to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities.
  • Tenacity and focus, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and simply to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
