Business Development Manager

About Us

The School of Clinical Medicine at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) is a leading institution in medical education and research.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

Job Description

This is a two-year fixed-term position with a competitive salary package, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The appointee will play a key role in coordinating learning activities involving novel educational technologies, including Generative AI, for undergraduate degree programmes.

You will work closely with teaching staff and programme administrators to introduce new initiatives for teaching and learning, and engage substantially with students in deploying educational technologies in teaching and learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A good university degree with at least 5 years' work experience in the higher education sector or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to motivate subordinates.
  • An excellent command of English and Chinese, with high-level IT knowledge and proficiency in using educational technologies.
  • Experience in student engagement and/or a good work knowledge of the latest educational technologies would be an advantage.
