About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Communications to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that supports our business objectives and enhances our reputation as a leader in the cybersecurity industry.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of communications professionals to develop and execute communications strategies that support our business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, analysts, and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute communications plans that support product launches, mergers and acquisitions, and other business initiatives.
- Provide strategic counsel to our CEO and other senior leaders on communications matters.
- Develop and execute crisis communications plans to mitigate reputational risk.
- Manage our company's external communications, including media relations, social media, and analyst relations.
- Develop and maintain our company's messaging and positioning to ensure consistency across all communications channels.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in communications, with a strong background in public relations, corporate communications, and executive communications.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communications strategies that drive business results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of communications professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
