Senior Underwriter Casualty

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter Casualty to join our team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our Casualty underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing a portfolio of general ledger major and middle market business, in accordance with AIG guidelines, authorities, strategy, processes, and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, analyze, and defend an existing portfolio of business
- Build up a profitable book of new business
- Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business
- Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions
- Participate in client/broker meetings
- Monitor portfolio of the book in relation to claims
- Handle commercial relationships with clients and brokers
- Give presentations, trainings, and take care of internal and external networking
- Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives
