Claims Adjuster Casualty Specialist

About the Role:
AIG is seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster Casualty to join our team in Rotterdam. As a Claims Adjuster Casualty, you will be responsible for handling complex casualty claims, gathering relevant information, determining coverage, assessing liability, and quantum analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling complex casualty claims, including engaging, monitoring, and managing experts and lawyers where necessary.
- Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders, brokers, (medical) experts, clients, lawyers, victims, or their legal representatives.
- Working with underwriters to turn claims experience into improved products.
- Ensuring adherence to compliance and claims guidelines and playing an exemplary role towards other team members.
- Contributing to a dynamic and international environment, working with a highly motivated and experienced claims team.
Requirements:
- Experience with handling and settling casualty claims, including engaging, monitoring, and managing experts/lawyers and adjusting/taking control where necessary.
- Fluency in Dutch, with knowledge of the English language a plus.
- Legal degree in Dutch civil law.
- Good analytical skills.
- Commitment to service-quality and performing on a 'first time right'-base.
- Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
