Claims Adjuster Casualty Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Claims Adjuster to join our team in Rotterdam. As a key member of our casualty claims team, you will be responsible for handling complex claims, gathering relevant information, determining coverage, assessing liability, and providing a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling complex casualty claims, including gathering information, determining coverage, and assessing liability
- Engaging and managing experts and lawyers as necessary
- Effective communication with internal stakeholders, brokers, experts, clients, lawyers, and other relevant parties
- Working with underwriters to turn claims experience into improved products
- Ensuring adherence to compliance and claims guidelines, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team
Requirements:
- Experience in handling and settling casualty claims, including engaging and managing experts/lawyers
- Fluency in Dutch, with knowledge of English a plus
- Legal degree in Dutch civil law
- Strong analytical skills and commitment to service-quality
- Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
