At Marriott International, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to join our team as a Director of Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and leading sales efforts for our Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively lead sales efforts and handle international sales opportunities for the hotel.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar upscale or lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, with a third language a plus.
