Technical Support Engineer

As we’re planning to install 3.000.000 heat pumps by around 2030 we're seeking a highly motivated and ambitious person that’s not afraid to make her or his hands dirty and make a real dent in the climate change challenge that we are already facing. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be at the heart of our company, supporting a team of Installers with carrying out successful installations on the electrical side mostly. You are first in line to help our installers to solve issues on the job, improve installation processes and teach your colleagues how the work needs to be done. Besides that you are a teacher and inspirator for your intern colleagues, training them and making improvements within the process.
Your goal will be to provide excellent support to our installers, a smooth customer experience and First Time Right installations done by the safety standards in the installation branche. What you will bring:

  • Provide technical support to Installers, by answering questions by phone or online communication, and solving issues beyond their expertise.

  • Be the expert by sharing knowledge and documenting it in written materials.

  • Preferably you have electrical expertise.

  • Improve installation processes by changing the way of working or improving tools.

  • Be an intermediary between our product team, sales team and field employees. Share 2-way feedback, to help improve our product and customer experience.

  • Be the one who takes the lead in decision making on electrical challenges.

  • Do whatever is needed to make our customers happy and turn Quatt into a huge success
    What you will need:

    • You want to make a positive impact on the world and fight climate change.

    • HBO/WO work and thinking level.

    • Preferably electrical knowledge - mainly in low voltage household installations.

    • Preferably you have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience within a similar role.

      • You are fluent in Dutch and very good in English.

      • You enjoy solving technical problems and learning new techniques while doing that.

      • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and take responsibility when needed.

      • You know how to provide support to your colleagues in a helpful, polite & solution-oriented manner.

      • You are not afraid to work independently, make mistakes, learn from them and fix them.

        Even better if you have:

        • Experience working with solar, home batteries or other electrical assets by homeowners.

        • Ability to read/write technical materials and manuals. Why Quatt:

          • A competitive monthly salary ranging from 2.700 to 5.000 euros, excluding holiday allowance (8%) that we pay on top of your monthly salary.
