Italian Technical Support Agent

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist fluent in Italian to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional technical assistance and ongoing support to our clients. You will be tasked with providing first-line troubleshooting and resolving customer inquiries effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial troubleshooting with clients to address technical issues.
- Manage the return process for products needing service, including part replacements and device exchanges.
- Process warranty and non-warranty service requests efficiently.
- Document and report all product failures and customer feedback in accordance with quality standards.
- Provide phone support to customers, guiding them on product usage and maintenance.
- Identify training needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Assist in the logistics of delivering products to clients.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including Engineering and Marketing, to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain a repository of frequently asked questions to streamline support.
- Communicate suggestions for product improvements to relevant departments.
- Contribute to the efficiency of customer support processes and practices.
- Review customer interactions to ensure resolution of issues.
- Work with bio-hazard materials as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Understanding of basic engineering concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Strong hands-on skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Adaptability to new situations and environments.
- Results-driven mindset with a positive attitude.
- Effective multitasking skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for operational support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Three years of relevant experience in a technical support role.
- Knowledge of networking principles, particularly TCP/IP in wireless settings.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in both English and Italian is required.
Education:
- University degree or significant work experience in a related field.
