Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Lead to join our team at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the high standards of our hotel and delight our guests.
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and sanitation.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent food quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with our restaurant and banquet teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 4 years experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Experience with menu planning and inventory management.
