Cash Equity Italian Institutional Sales

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic institutional sales professional to join our team in Italy. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building relationships within the cash equity market and possesses strong selling capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue and expand our network of market participants.

The Role:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with counterparts in the Italian cash equity space;
  • Assist traders in direct trading with counterparts, guiding dialogue and providing context for effective price negotiation;
  • Support trading's understanding of individual and wider DCP sector trading to inform their efforts;
  • Develop participant profiles, reports, and analyses;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content related to direct trading initiatives;
  • Attend conferences and seminars for relevant products.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in cash equity institutional sales;
  • Detailed knowledge of the Italian cash equity market and established professional network;
  • Relevant experience in top-tier competitors or global investment banks is highly desirable;
  • Strong relationships-building skills within the cash equities space and solid selling capabilities;
  • Willingness to travel and meet face-to-face with prospective and current counterparties;
  • Ability to organize events and manage client relationships effectively;
  • Strong communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset willing to take ownership;
  • A proactive nature allowing for quick learning and autonomous impact on counterparties;
  • Collaborative work environment and deep understanding of market regulations.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of around €120,000 per year, performance-based bonuses, and a healthy work-life balance. Our benefits package includes 25 paid vacation days, fully paid first-class commuting expenses, training opportunities, discounts on health insurance, breakfast, lunch, and facilities, sports and leisure activities, Friday afternoon drinks, and weekly chair massages.
