Job Title: Regional Account Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Executive to join our team at Mendix. As a Regional Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing a pipeline of new business opportunities in close collaboration with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify leads, and develop them into high-value opportunities
  • Work closely with channel partners to generate pipeline and close sales in a co-sell motion
  • Build relationships and communicate the differentiated value of Mendix to customers at both the technical and business levels
  • Develop strategies for each account to mitigate risk and increase deal confidence
  • Take the core role in the closing process, including negotiations and procurement activities
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies to communicate the differentiated value of Mendix to customers
  • Consistently communicate and brainstorm with the extended team around all aspects of account and opportunity development

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated direct sales or channel experience in enterprise software with a proven track record of generating and closing net new sales
  • Proven ability to handle complex sales cycles, including the ability to provide coordination and direction to your extended team
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage partner relationships at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Ability to travel 25-50% within the territory/region
