Solution Development Representative
As a key member of our Commercial Sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for Datadog. Your primary objective will be to establish and maintain relationships with IT and technology innovators across various markets. This will involve prospecting, qualifying, and generating customer leads to contribute to Datadog's overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various Datadog teams to drive initial prospect qualification and schedule discovery meetings.
- Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new business, leveraging your expertise in cloud transformation and data-driven sales.
- Conduct outbound outreach by cold calling and emailing prospective customers to learn about their unique needs.
- Learn to follow a well-defined methodology to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- A motivated sales professional with a proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of cloud transformation and data-driven sales principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
- Fluency in German is a must.
