Project Overview

We have initiated the preliminary design phases and outlined plans to construct a substantial warehouse in Tiel-Medel. In this facility, RITUALS and our third-party logistics provider (3PL) will implement an automated omni-channel operation. This project spans over three years, involving collaborative efforts across RITUALS, the 3PL, the building developer, and the construction firm. Our motto is clear: "Supply Chain will never be the bottleneck for growth."

Role Summary

For this logistics initiative, we seek a highly skilled Senior Program Manager. The ideal candidate will have prior experience launching warehouses or factories and possess a deep understanding of managing programs of this magnitude, complexity, and budgetary scope. If you have a background in 3PL, shipping, or integration, along with robust program management capabilities and a proven history of establishing large logistics facilities, this position may be an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain, you will oversee the program management of the development and launch of the new RITUALS distribution center. You will collaborate closely with the future 3PL, the development team, and the RITUALS project team, including external specialists. This program signifies a substantial investment and necessitates management across multiple stakeholders, representing a landmark logistics initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall accountability for program management of the distribution center initiative (planning, budget oversight, progress tracking, and risk management).
  • Establishing and maintaining the appropriate project structure, resource allocation, and governance from RITUALS' perspective.
  • Overseeing project execution across all streams, partners, and suppliers.
  • Maintaining contractual frameworks in collaboration with our legal team.
  • Supporting executive decision-making by providing accurate status updates and content reports.

You will report to and work closely with the Director of Logistics, while also liaising with the steering committee. Additionally, you will lead the program team, collaborating closely with Supply Chain teams, business units, Business Technology, and customers.

Candidate Profile

The Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain will play a crucial role in supporting RITUALS' growth by taking charge of establishing the new distribution center operations, including scaling and transition efforts.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in distribution network and distribution center transformation, including the implementation of new centers and warehouse automation.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
  • Strong program management experience and skills in logistics operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities and experience managing Logistics / 3PL partnerships.
  • A solid understanding of IT design and implementation.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
