Project Overview

We have initiated the design phase and outlined plans to construct a substantial warehouse in Tiel-Medel. This facility will enable RITUALS and the third-party logistics provider (3PL) to implement an automated omni-channel operation. The project timeline spans over three years, with collaborative efforts involving RITUALS, the 3PL, the building developer, and the construction firm. Our goal is clear: "Supply Chain will never be the bottleneck for growth."

Role Summary

For this logistics initiative, we seek a highly skilled Senior Program Manager. The ideal candidate will have prior experience launching warehouses or factories and possess a deep understanding of managing programs of this magnitude, complexity, and budgetary requirements. If you have a background in 3PL, shipping, or integration, along with robust program management skills and a proven history of establishing large logistics facilities, this role may be a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain, you will oversee the program management of the development and launch of the new RITUALS distribution center. Your collaboration will extend to the future 3PL, the DC development team, and the RITUALS project team, including external specialists. This program represents a significant investment and requires effective management across multiple stakeholders, marking it as a landmark logistics initiative.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overall program management of the DC initiative, including planning, budget oversight, progress tracking, and risk management.
  • Establishing and maintaining an appropriate project structure, resource allocation, and governance from RITUALS' perspective.
  • Overseeing project execution across all streams, partners, and suppliers.
  • Collaborating with our legal team to establish and maintain contractual frameworks.
  • Supporting executive decision-making by providing accurate status updates and content insights.

You will report directly to the Director of Logistics and work closely with the steering committee. Additionally, you will lead the program team while collaborating with Supply Chain teams, business units, Business Technology, and customers.

Candidate Profile

The Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain will facilitate RITUALS' growth by taking charge of establishing the new DC operation, including scaling and transitioning processes.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in distribution network and distribution center transformation, including the implementation of new centers and warehouse automation.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
  • Strong program management experience and skills in logistics operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities and experience managing Logistics/3PL partnerships.
  • An understanding of IT design and implementation.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
