RITUALS is a rapidly expanding family-owned enterprise. To support this growth, our logistics division has restructured the distribution network strategy. Our forthcoming central distribution center is pivotal to this strategy.

We have initiated the initial design phases and outlined the blueprint for constructing a substantial warehouse in Tiel-Medel. Within this facility, RITUALS and our third-party logistics partner will implement an automated omni-channel operation. This project spans over three years, with efforts coordinated among RITUALS, the 3PL, the building developer, and the construction firm. Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager for this logistics initiative. The ideal candidate will have prior experience launching warehouses or factories and possess a deep understanding of managing programs of this magnitude, complexity, and budgetary constraints. If you have a background in 3PL, shipping, or integration, along with robust program management skills and a successful history of establishing large logistics facilities, this position may be the right fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain, you will oversee the program management of the development and launch of the new RITUALS distribution center. You will collaborate closely with the future 3PL, the DC development team, and the RITUALS project team, including external experts. This program represents a significant investment and requires effective management across multiple stakeholders, making it a landmark logistics initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall program management of the DC initiative, including planning, budget oversight, progress tracking, and risk management.
  • Establishing and maintaining the appropriate project structure, resource allocation, and governance from RITUALS' perspective.
  • Overseeing project execution across all streams, partners, and suppliers.
  • Maintaining contractual frameworks in collaboration with our legal team.
  • Supporting executive decision-making by providing accurate status updates and content reports.

You will report to and work closely with the Director of Logistics, as well as the steering committee. Additionally, you will lead the program team while collaborating with Supply Chain teams, business units, Business Technology, and customers.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate who is energetic, humble, and possesses a sense of humor. You should be unique in your ability to tackle the logistical challenges presented by this Distribution Center Transformation. Additionally, you should have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in distribution network and distribution center transformation, including the implementation of new centers and warehouse automation.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
  • Strong program management experience and skills in logistics operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience managing Logistics/3PL partnerships.
  • An understanding of IT design and implementation.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
