RITUALS is a rapidly expanding family-owned enterprise. To facilitate this growth, our logistics division has redefined the strategy for our distribution network. The upcoming central distribution center is pivotal to this strategy.

We have initiated the preliminary design and outlined the blueprint for constructing a large warehouse in Tiel-Medel. Within this facility, RITUALS and our third-party logistics partner will implement an automated omni-channel operation. This project is projected to span over three years, with collaborative efforts involving RITUALS, the 3PL, the building developer, and the construction firm. Our mantra is clear: "Supply Chain will never be the bottleneck for growth."

Your Role

We are in search of a highly skilled senior program manager for this logistics initiative. The ideal candidate will have prior experience launching warehouses or factories and possess a deep understanding of managing programs with such extensive scope, complexity, and budgetary considerations. If you have a background with a 3PL, shipper, or integrator, along with robust program management capabilities and a proven history of establishing large logistics facilities, this role may be the next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain, you will oversee the program management of the development and launch of the new RITUALS distribution center. Your role will involve close collaboration with the future 3PL, the DC development team, and the RITUALS project team, including external experts. This program represents a significant investment and must be managed across multiple stakeholders, making it a landmark logistics initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall program management of the DC initiative, including planning, budget oversight, progress tracking, and risk management.
  • Establishing and maintaining the appropriate project structure, resource allocation, and governance from RITUALS' perspective.
  • Overseeing the execution of project tasks across all streams, partners, and suppliers.
  • Collaborating with our legal team to establish and maintain contractual frameworks.
  • Supporting executive decision-making by providing accurate status updates and content reports.

You will report to and work closely with the Director of Logistics and the steering committee, leading the program team while collaborating with Supply Chain teams, business units, Business Technology, and customers.

Qualifications

The Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain will contribute to RITUALS' growth by taking charge of establishing the new DC operation, including scaling and transitioning processes.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in distribution network and distribution center transformation, including the implementation of new centers and warehouse automation.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
  • Strong program management experience and skills in logistics operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in managing Logistics / 3PL partnerships.
  • An understanding of IT design and implementation.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
