About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Sovos. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building market demand for our solutions and services by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets
  • Qualify inbound leads and provide opportunities for the sales team to progress
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and execute territory plans
  • Identify and recommend improvements to business development strategies, processes, and tools
  • Manage multiple priorities concurrently and actively manage tasks to ensure effective pipeline development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong team player with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
  • General understanding of business, financial systems, and organizational decision-making
  • Ability to work with mid/executive level contacts at clients
  • Self-motivated, quick learner with effective internal and external communication skills
