We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Elementary School Classroom Dual Language Teacher to join our team at the American School of The Hague. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Elementary School students in a dual language setting, utilizing their expertise in language arts and education to create engaging and effective lesson plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students in a dual language setting
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students to ensure a strong partnership
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
  • MA in Elementary Education or related field
  • Experience teaching in a dual language setting
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
