**Job Brief**:
A PriceSpider Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for expanding PriceSpider's Global Retailer Network by recruiting retailers of all tiers to participate and leverage sales data to grow their business. This role focuses primarily on retailers that are industry leaders with national/global scale. They utilize cold and warm outreach to connect with retailers and present value propositions based on partnership, data sharing, and brand optimization. The Strategic Partnerships Manager should be comfortable with providing high level business insights and recommendations, managing objections and personalizing value propositions in real time, as well as communication at an Executive (C-Suite/VP) level.
This role is focused on European business development.
**Essential Function and Responsibilities**:
- Ability to work with the Partnerships team and cross-departmentally with the broader Sales and Product organizations, while intrinsically motivated to onboard a diverse set of retailers across multiple industries
- Heavy emphasis on proactive & independent management of your retailer pipeline
- Ensure adoption of PriceSpider tracking technology
- Development of new verticals and opportunities
- Thrives on strategy, testing creative solutions, and building win-win relationships with partners
- Owns relationships with retailers, executes quarterly business reviews, and provides analytic insights to help discern optimization opportunities between client and strategic partners
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Familiarity with global retailers and PriceSpider product portfolio
- Confident in sales process acumen - prospecting, cold calling, alternative forms of communication, pitching, closing, and handling objections
- Driven by the hunt and close of a successful deal
- Data analysis skills a plus
- Preference for industry experience in CPG or affiliate marketing management
- Desired** **fluency in English and one or more of these languages at a professional level: Spanish, French, German
- Bachelor's in business or equivalent sales and business development experience
- Ability to meet established goals and take ownership of their book of business
- Ability to work independently without much oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
