Postdoctoral Researcher in Power System Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at Eindhoven University of Technology. The successful candidate will contribute to the investigation of the renewable hydrogen production system integration impact on the Dutch Transmission System, focusing on the quality of voltage supply and system stability.
Key Responsibilities- Modeling of harmonic emission generated by different power converter technologies for hydrogen electrolyzers, considering varying operating conditions and grid strength.
- Development of a new methodology for analyzing the dynamic assessment of risk level of grid-following VSC-based converter or LCC-based converter power grid integration.
- Identification of corrective measures to comply with the connection requirements and safeguard long-term grid security of supply.
- PhD in power electronics or a relevant field.
- Ability to conduct high-quality academic research and demonstrated experience in grid-following converter/LCC-based converter modeling and large-scale power electronics system analysis.
- Excellent mastering of the English language and good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary context and be a team player.
- Full-time employment for 2 years.
- Salary in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, scale 10.
