Global Compensation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Compensation Specialist to join our team at Booking. As a key member of our Compensation and Benefits team, you will play a critical role in shaping our global compensation strategy and ensuring that our employee rewards programs are aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global compensation policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across all regions.
  • Collaborate with regional Compensation and HR teams to resolve compensation-related queries and issues.
  • Support the annual salary review process, ensuring that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation packages.
  • Test and improve compensation-related processes in Workday to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support various Compensation and Benefits initiatives, including research, implementation, and communication.
  • Participate in salary surveys to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Prepare reports for management members to inform compensation-related decisions.
  • Administer employee compensation, including processing calculations and eligibility, updating global presentations, and interacting with regional teams.
  • Drive process improvement and simplification to enhance efficient compensation practices.
  • Update and maintain Rewards content on the Employee Service Center.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years related human resource, employee compensation experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with reporting and processing sensitive/confidential employee information.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite/Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, analytical, and logical thinking with a drive to improve current processes.
  • General knowledge of Workday or other HRIS preferred.
  • Ability to juggle priorities with ease and make good trade-offs when needed.
